“One who is full loathes honey from the comb, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.”

I was recently with a young business leader of substantial wealth. His wealth primarily comes from his family, although he certainly takes the growth and management of it seriously. He is a great example of The Edge leader, as well as someone who runs his company from a Biblical worldview. What I found interesting was the number of amazing experiences we shared that I found fascinating, fun, and remarkable, while he seemed less impressed. His life experiences have taken him all over the world, and from a very young age, his sense of normal was much higher than that of most people. I have often felt that people with physical challenges on earth, if they are followers of Christ, will have the same heaven in their future, yet diminishing the experiences of other believers, those with physical limitations might find a greater sense of awe. A paraplegic who reaches heaven and can walk and run would likely find it more exhilarating than someone who walked and ran every day of their life on earth. Learning to notice and celebrate every gift from God is part of seeking Him everywhere, every day. Today, practice observation and gratitude. #BeTheEdge
