“Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.”
Solomon is referring back to the beginning of this chapter. He tells us that as we invest in God’s truth, His word, knowing what we need to live correctly is the byproduct. It can be easy—often, organizations, even churches, get caught up in programs and training to equip believers. Some are good, such as the Biblical Worldview training that teaches how a leader or business operates as they live out God’s kingdom will. However, if they offer to take you into God’s transformative work, it will leave you missing the mark. Programs and training cannot transform us. Only God’s Spirit has that power. I’ve often quoted the old pastor’s saying that God so loved the world He did not send a formula or a plan; He sent a relationship—a person. The living Word. Jesus. The ability to understand right and justice is the byproduct of a Spirit-controlled life. Today, get to know Him and learn to hear His voice. #BeTheEdge
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 NIV
